There are moments that feel like a full-circle breath — where you pause, look around, and realize something beautiful has been growing all along. Our March 3rd Sing DC meetup was one of those moments.

Together, we celebrated one full year of Sing DC by lifting our voices to “Golden” by Jill Scott — a song that couldn’t have been more fitting. 💛🎶

From the first breath, the room felt alive with gratitude, joy, and connection. We grounded ourselves, opened our voices, and then stepped into the music — harmonizing, swaying, and fully embracing the message of the song: we are living our lives like it’s golden.

And in that moment, we truly were.

Each voice carried its own story, its own journey, its own courage. And yet, together, we created something unified, soulful, and deeply moving. That’s what Sing DC has become — not just a choir, but a space where people come to reconnect with themselves and each other through sound.
